Enterprise Architect

Role Overview

As an Enterprise Architect, you will ensure that digital initiatives align with business strategy, enterprise architecture principles, governance standards, security requirements, and target-state capabilities. Acting as an independent reviewer, you will provide architectural oversight, promote technology standardization, and help guide strategic technology decisions across the organization.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture governance and feasibility reviews.
  • Review solution designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and technology standards.
  • Assess compliance with security, data, integration, AI, and platform guidelines.
  • Recommend approval, conditional approval, or escalation of architecture decisions.
  • Maintain enterprise capability maps and application portfolio views.
  • Identify overlapping solutions, technology duplication, and technical debt.
  • Support the definition of target architectures and transformation roadmaps.
  • Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions and validate solution fit within the enterprise landscape.
  • Review non-functional requirements, including scalability, resilience, security, and supportability.
  • Identify architecture risks and contribute to technology simplification and rationalization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Domain Architects, and governance teams to maintain architecture principles, reference architectures, and review practices.

Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture.
  • Strong understanding of architecture governance and stakeholder management.
  • Broad knowledge of applications, integration, data, security, cloud, and modern enterprise technologies.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to challenge architectural decisions in a constructive and pragmatic way.
  • Experience in large, complex organizations is an advantage.
